Meet The Team

As an Investment Advisor Representative, Scott focuses on providing individualized financial services that align clients’ core values with their financial needs. He is listed in Marquis Who’s Who in Finance and Industry and has been successfully helping clients build and implement strategic plans for retirement since 1975. He loves helping people live their dreams by putting together a plan, implementing and monitoring the plan, and seeing the plan come to fruition.

Throughout his career, Scott has worked nationally and internationally with individuals, executives, business owners and professional athletes. He is a frequent lecturer to associations and business owners in asset and wealth management, tax planning, asset protection, risk management and total financial planning.

In addition to his Financial Planning businesses, Scott has also been a developer, owner, and operator of restaurants and convenience stores. He understands what it takes to operate successful businesses through many business cycles and changing market conditions.

Scott graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a composite minor in economics, accounting and statistics. He went on to complete executive money management training at Wharton School of Business. In addition, Scott has also earned the following designations: CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Chartered Life Underwriter^® and Chartered Financial Consultant^®.

Away from the financial world, Scott spends most of his free time outside with his wife, children and grandchildren enjoying Salt Lake City and Southern Utah’s many natural attractions. Depending on the season, you will find Scott skiing, biking, hiking, mountaineering, fly fishing and golfing.
